ObligoShield is a software platform. We are NOT a law firm and we do NOT provide legal advice. The insights generated by our AI system are for informational purposes only. All final decisions regarding legal compliance, tax filings, or visa status remain the sole responsibility of the user.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing ObligoShield, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you are prohibited from using the Service.
2. The Service
- Purpose: Document analysis for the purpose of identifying potential compliance obligations and deadlines.
- Accuracy: While we aim for high accuracy, the system is automated. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy. We are not liable for missed deadlines, misinterpreted documents, or technical errors in alert delivery.
- Global Use: The Service is designed for founders and teams worldwide. Compliance requirements vary by jurisdiction; the user must verify all system outputs against local laws.
3. Fees & Payment
ObligoShield is a paid service. All payments are processed via Stripe.
- Monthly Plan ($20): Billed every 30 days. No refunds.
- Yearly Plan ($180): Billed annually. Limited refund available (see Section 4).
- Third-Party Fees: You are responsible for any fees charged by your bank or payment provider for currency conversion or international transactions.
4. Refund Policy
We maintain a strict refund policy to ensure the sustainability of our infrastructure.
- Monthly Subscriptions: No refunds under any circumstances.
- Yearly Subscriptions: A refund request will only be considered if all of the following criteria are met:
- Request is made within 7 days of the initial purchase.
- Total documents processed (scanned) is fewer than 3.
- The core alert system has not been triggered for active obligations.
- Prohibited Refunds: No refunds for account terminations due to violations of these Terms.
5. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OBLIGOSHIELD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, FINES, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:
- Your use or inability to use the service.
- Any errors or omissions in any content.
- Any unauthorized access to our servers or personal/business data stored therein.
